What Squamish Newcomer Services offers:
Squamish Newcomer Services provide confidential services to you that are professional and friendly. Services are available in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Punjabi and can connect you to services in other languages as needed.
SNS provides information, guidance, referrals, and support on: Immigration, citizenship, applying for or extending work permits, employment, housing, and more.
Who is elegible?
Family Class Permanent Residents (spouses, dependent children, relatives)
Economic Class Permanent Residents (Federal Skilled Workers, Skilled Traders, Entrepreneurs, Self-Employed, Live-In Caregivers, Canadian Experience, and Provincial Nominees)
Refugees (federally selected)
Temporary Residents (Temporary Foreign Workers, Refugee Claimants, and International Students).
Note: While the main focus is immigrants and newcomers, many services are open to everyone.
